Legend Boucles 2015 : en deux mots.
Les Legend Boucles de Spa déménagent de Spa à Bastogne pour leurs 10ème édition. Du coup on ne parle plus que des Legend Boucles 2015 ou Legend Boucles de Bastogne. Normal me direz vous. Mais que dire du succès toujours renouvelé de cette désormais « classique » des rallyes historiques de régularité ? Peut être est-il dû à une excellente organisation et à une équipe qui n’hésite pas à renouveler son parcours de 60% et proposer trois catégories différentes – Classic, Legend et Démo – permettant ainsi à un grand nombre d’équipage de s’engager. Ils sont 248 à répondre présent en 2015. Comme Markku Alen (Fiat Abarth 131 Rally), François Duval, Alister McRae, Jean-François Mourgues (tous 3 sur Ford Escort RS Mk2) ou encore Yves Matton, le patron de Citroën Racing, copiloté par Daniel Elena (sur Porsche 911 SC).

Les autos engagées en Démo ne sont ni chronométrées, ni classées, mais quel régal pour les spectateurs de retrouver des Audi Quattro, Lancia Delta Intégrale ou autres 205 Turbo 16. Comme tous les Rallyes Historiques de régularité, une moyenne doit être respecté et là encore l’organisation a bien fait les choses. Les Legend devant respecter les 80 km/h de moyenne, et les Classic, 60 km/h.
A ce petit jeu François Duval, au volant de sa Ford Escort RS Mk2 Groupe 4 de 1977, s’impose pour la troisième année consécutive. Le pilote belge s’impose devant ses compatriotes Raphaël De Borman (Escort RS Mk2) et Bernard Munster (Porsche 911). Jean-François Mourgues termine 16ème. Yves Matton et Daniel Elena se classent 24ème sur Porsche 911 MY Racing (écurie appartenant à Yves Matton).
